What is SEO anyway?

I been discussing SEO, some tactics and nice to have SEO analytic tools in the past but I haven't define what is an SEO anyway. So, what is SEO anyway? SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization. It is one of the tactical ways in order to get an amount of internet traffic from the internet. 

Learning how to do Search Engine Optimization is really part of internet marketing strategies. So, if you want to become a Filipino Internet Marketer, or a highly paid virtual assistant, learn SEO. I am not saying that SEO is the only way or process to get internet traffic. In fact, there are various ways aside from SEO.

Search engine optimization (SEO) is the process of improving the visibility of a website or a web page in search engines via the "natural" or un-paid ("organic" or "algorithmic") search results. In general, the earlier (or higher ranked on the search results page), and more frequently a site appears in the search results list, the more visitors it will receive from the search engine's users. SEO may target different kinds of search, including image search, local search, video search, academic search,[1] news search and industry-specific vertical search engines. Here's my tip, if you really want to learn SEO, check this sites, and read more about it. Research. Subscribe in some blogs that talk about it. But remember this, SEO tactics changes from time to time. Stay updated. If you heard about Panda, you know what I am talking about.

SEO is really a process. Some series of actions or steps should be taken to achieve your search engine marketing goal and in order to get a higher rank. Since it's a process, there are steps that need to discover.
