Virtual Assistant Tools Blog for Pinoy by Pinoy plus My Google Lesson#1 and The Java Man

Welcome to Filipino Virtual Assistant Tools blog. Let's start. First things first. Let's define first these three terms: Virtual; Assistant; and Tools.

Virtual means...
- being actually such in almost every respect
- existing in essence or effect though not in actual fact

Meaning... being there but not actualy there.

What about assistant? Assistant means... (do i really have to include this in this post), Ok, sige na nga,
- a person who contributes to the fulfillment of a need or furtherance of an effort or purpose
- a person (or by extension a device) that helps another person accomplish his goals

Now, the final word. Tools.
- is an entity that interfaces between two or more domains (ano daw?)
- instrument: the means whereby some act is accomplished (labo pa rin)
- a device or process that is used to do some kind of work (pwede!)

Opss.. where and how did I get that. Allow me to show you.
Lesson #1: How to define a word using Google

Go to Google search engine www google dot com. Then instead of just typing your keyword, type the word "define:" prior your keyword example: "define: virtual", "define: assistant", define: tools". Also note that this is not case sensitive. Not Case Sensitive means you can use all-capital-letter-word or even first-letter-only-capital-word. See sample image below:

If you're probably using stone in this age, well I don't know what to call you. But if you probably using Java (programming script), well... you're a geek! but still a Java man. :)

Going back to Virtual Assistant, who in the earth invented this and what is Virtual Assistant anyways. Let's consult Mr. Google again to tell us some definition.

A Virtual Assistant (typically abbreviated to VA, also called a virtual office assistant) is an entrepreneur who provides professional administrative, technical, or creative (social) assistance to clients from a home office.

So there you have it, even Mr. Google define Virtual Assistant not as an employee but rather an Entrepreneur. Let's define what is an Entrepreneur in my future post. Just keep visiting this blog site.

  15. Online tools are essential to virtual assistants, in which it can help them do tasks efficiently and effectively. Like Skype for instance, using this tool it can help virtual assistant communicate more often to clients. Communication is the key to be an effective virtual assistant. Virtual assistants are all over the world and you can hire them from different freelancing sites like Odesk and Guru. However, if you are hiring virtual assistant from job sites like monster.com you will going to miss the capability of hiring a highly skilled virtual assistant. One of the reasons is you don’t know what he/she is capable to do. Having a virtual assistant is a great way to save you time and cost.

Build your audience list database first and then sell to people later. Some people might ask, “But when are we going to sell?” Wr
